Hotel Alte Werft – where history lives. The former engineering hall, where the traditional Papenburg company Meyer Werft manufactured compressors from 1870 until the company moved in 1975, is now home to the Hotel Alte Werft with 122 comfortably furnished guest rooms. In addition, the Hotel Alte Werft offers function rooms for up to 1,000 people in various sizes. From the replica New York Theatre with red velvet and brick, the Kesselschmiede with industrial character, event halls for galas or our restaurant Schnürboden. With its unique ambience, the Hotel Alte Werft offers the ideal setting for cultural and business events as well as private functions.
